GENERAL RULES

Economic Event trade Rule

  • Evaluation: Allowed
  • Funded/Instant Funding: forbidden to execute (pending positions including market positions, stop loss or take profit positions) or close any trade during 5 minutes prior to and following high impact news event. Violation results to profit deduction except the trade was open 5 hours prior to the news event.
  • Instant Prime allows news trade with an add-on.

    • Automated Systems (ATS)

  • ATS are permitted only on 1-step-FLASH and 2-step-Pro challenge portfolios, not on funded portfolios.
  • participants must customize automated system settings to match their own style, may not hide automated system usage, and may not use commercially available automated ATS.

    • Trade Replication

  • Allowed: Manual replicate trades only between your own challenge portfolios (1-step or 2-step) on TradeLocker or cTrader.
  • forbidden:

    • – No copy execute on funded or instant funded portfolios.
    – No copying between different users.
    – If you have multiple funded portfolios, identical trades must be at least 30 minutes apart to avoid being flagged.
    – Violation results to portfolio review, if confirmed, portfolio may be reset or closed depending on the severity of the issue.

  • There’s a 30-day dormancy rule. You must place at least one trade every 30 days (counting from portfolio purchase date, not from first trade date) to avoid an portfolio breach due to dormancy.

    • Soft Breach

  • There is no limit on the allowed soft breaches for 1-step-flash and or 2-step-pro portfolios, but Instant Funding portfolios have a soft breach limit of 10 soft breaches prior to it turns into a hard-breach.

  • Opening a trade without a stop-loss

  • All profitable trades must be held for at least 5 minutes prior to being closed. Closing a profitable trade in less than 5 minutes whether manually, by take profit, or by a stop loss (if set in profit), violates the rule.

    • Consequences:

  • During Challenge Phases: Violations are reviewed by the Risk Team. Depending on severity, participants may be required to retake the challenge or receive a formal warning.

    • On Funded portfolios: Profits from non-compliant trades are deducted, and participants receive a warning. Repeated violations can result in portfolio termination.
