Trading Rules

Economic Event Positioning

  • Available throughout the Challenge Phase.
  • Not permitted on Live Simulated Portfolios.
  • Positions opened/closed during a 3-minute window before or after high-impact news causes profit removal for those positions (soft breach, portfolio remains active).
  • Maintaining positions through the breach window is permitted.

    • Required Winning Days Requirement

  • Relevant exclusively for 1-step, 2-step and 3-step evaluations (not live simulated portfolios).
  • Participants need to achieve minimum 3 winning days (with each producing 0.5%+ of starting balance).
  • Not fulfilling meet this will not trigger a breach but delays passing the challenge.

    • Position Replication
    – Copy trading and the use of ATS/Bots copy trading is Permitted, but exclusively for personal positions, replicating signals, relatives’ or other participants’ positions is banned. Arbitrage, latency exploitation, or group trading is completely banned. Breachs may cause portfolio termination, profit forfeiture, lifetime exclusions.

    • 30-Day Dormancy Policy

  • You need to execute minimum of one position each 30-day period to maintain your portfolio active. This timer starts beginning from purchase, not from your first position.

    • ATS

  • Automated Trading Systems (ATS): Permitted on MT5 only, but Duplikium and arbitrage-based methods are completely banned. Participants need to utilize unique ATS, refrain from HFT, and adhere to fair trading practices. Breaking these rules can cause portfolio termination, loss of profits, and a lifetime exclusion, as the risk team carefully monitors all activity.

    • Position Sizing & Leverage Constraints (Funded portfolio only)

  • Maxing out leverage or using gambling-style trading is disallowed.
  • Total position size cannot exceed 2% max risk of the portfolio.
  • Initial Breach results in Warning, potential profit removal, and leverage reduction, The Subsequent Breach leads to Portfolio freezing until leverage is reduced again.

    • VPN’s/IP and VPS/Multiple Devices

  • VPNs and VPS are permitted, but only for personal use. You need to utilize paid services and never share devices or IP addresses with fellow participants. Using VPNs, VPS, or multiple devices to bypass copy trading, group trading, or signal trading rules will cause portfolio termination.

    • Ban on Multiple Portfolios Sharing the Same Client ID (CID) on the MT5 Platform

  • One Client ID (CID) cannot be utilized to access or manage multiple MT5 portfolios, either simultaneously or sequentially, irrespective of ownership or portfolio type.
  • Breach causes instant removal, closure of all associated portfolios, loss of all profit distribution or funded status and a lifetime exclusion from Seacrest Markets programs.

    • Maximum Concurrent Positions per Asset

  • Not exceeding two open positions are permitted per asset (same pair) within the same timeframe

Payout Policy

All Programs: The payout is each 14-day cycle with 80% default profit split.

SCALING PLAN – Up To $1M

  • Scaling increases your portfolio balance by 25% quarterly if you achieve minimum of 12% total profit within the 90-day period, beginning from a fresh initial balance. Max scaling is 5 times from the initial portfolio balance.
